The history of the Triumph Bonneville model
The Triumph Bonneville motorcycle is a road vehicle that combines the best traditions that came to us from the 70s. Later, the model was modified and improved by introducing modern technologies and innovative solutions.
The motorcycle is powered by a powerful engine with two camshafts. From the first glance at the motorcycle, you can feel the attempt of engineers and marketers to hide a large amount of modern technology under the appearance of an old forgotten school. But today, the Triumph Bonneville provides impressive traction and is equipped with an effective exhaust gas treatment, fuel supply and injection system. The motorcycle gives an incredible feeling while riding: smooth engine operation, an improved suspension system and a comfortable seating position allow people of average height to comfortably travel long distances.

Motorcycle Triumph Bonneville SE 2013 review
The description of the Triumph Bonneville SE 2013 motorcycle is in the queue for publication of the article. Announcement: Today, for almost every new motorcycle that comes into being, marketers strive to carve out their own niche. This one is a road sport, this one is a recreational enduro. But what class should we include a motorcycle that has a little bit of everything? A good bike should have a reliable engine, comfortable ergonomics and simple controls...
Triumph Bonneville SE is a motorcycle not sold in Russia, equipped with a high-power 67 hp engine. Despite the fact that good models of motorcycles have a very respectable price, and the season for their use is relatively short, the motorcycle market is developing rapidly. And if you believe the words of dealers, then some models of recently released motorcycles are selling like hot cakes at the beginning of the season, and the models brought to Russia are clearly not enough to fully satisfy consumer demand.
A motorcycle has long ceased to be an alternative to a car, and the times when this equipment was bought only because there was not enough money for a full-fledged car are forgotten. Nowadays, two-wheelers can be called technological marvels in many cases, and their cost can be compared with that of prestigious cars.
Many people have started buying motorcycles for hobby purposes as riding or even collecting them has become a good pastime for many people. Many motorcycles, for example the Triumph Bonneville SE, whose technical characteristics make it possible to call the model a prestigious brand, are in demand among both beginners and experienced motorcyclists.
Motorcycles with an engine capacity of 865 cc. see, appeared as a result of long work of inventors who sought to create a model that was not inferior in characteristics to other versions of the motorcycle. In some cases, these models are not only not inferior, but also ahead of other motorcycles, as they have minimal fuel consumption and other excellent parameters.
Motorcycles with an engine capacity of more than 400 kb. cm, which includes the Triumph Bonneville SE - this category of motorcycles simply cannot claim the title of “motorcycle for a beginner.” On the contrary, this is already a serious technique that requires certain control of motorcycle equipment with a smaller engine capacity. Yes, she attracts more attention, she is the most beautiful, fast, interesting and there is a huge selection of models. But as power increases, the weight of the motorcycle inevitably increases. In this class you are unlikely to find motorcycles lighter than 180 kg, unless they are the latest motorcycle models.

Production
Triumph motorcycles are the British brand with the longest history. The company's first models were released in 1902. Then the company experienced difficult times and in 1991 the brand was revived again. At the moment, the line has a wide selection of vehicles: classic, cruisers, roadsters, touring, enduro touring, sports and retro models.
Triumph Bonneville continues the tradition of creating motorcycles that began in the 70s. The motorcycle has a simple, classic appearance, the color scheme is harmonious and does not contain unnecessary details. Looking at its profile, one cannot help but notice the powerful engine and the successful layout of the exhaust system elements. While driving, the engine emits a mighty roar that leaves no one indifferent.
Pedigree
Before discussing how the new Triumph Bobber Bonneville corresponds to the canons of bobber construction, you should get acquainted a little with the history of the emergence of this unusual trend in customization and the motorcycle industry as a whole. The birthplace of the first bobbers is considered to be the United States of America in the 30-40s of the last century, where racing on dirt tracks began to gain great popularity.
In those years, the most common motorcycles were heavy and underpowered Harley-Davidsons, so racing participants had to modify them quite seriously. And since the economic situation in the country was far from ideal, budget tuning of racing Harleys usually consisted of making the design as light as possible.
For the same reason of the total lack of money, the bobber often became not only a tool for victories on the race tracks, but also a means of transportation for every day. Thus, the main idea of Bobber-style bikes was, paradoxical at first glance, the possibility of everyday use of a racing motorcycle. It often happens that cinema sets the fashion for exclusively subcultural phenomena.
This happened with the popularity of bobber-style motorcycles. In 1953, Stanley Kramer's film "The Wild One" was released on wide screens, where Marlon Brando's hero drove a bobber based on the Triumph Thunderbird 650. Since "The Wild One" became a cult film for the motorcycle community, a few years after its release, motorcycles appeared that had nothing to do with dirt track racing. While maintaining the family's family appearance, the new bobbers were already designed for driving on asphalt roads.

Legendary classic Triumph Bonneville
Among the cars, there are iconic models, whose design or appearance traces its lineage back to once legendary ancestors, which over time have taken pride of place in collectors' garages. Which motorist doesn't know the Porsche 911 or Mini Cooper? The world of motorcycles also has its own cult characters. The most famous is, perhaps, Harley-Davidson. But don't discount the Triumph Bonneville.
The history of this motorcycle began when Johnny Allen, a motorcycle racer from Texas, raced across the surface of the Bonneville Salt Lake on a new Triumph motorcycle at a speed of 311 kilometers per hour. This was a world record. And is it any wonder that this motorcycle went on sale under the name Bonneville?
Over the subsequent years, this motorcycle continued to evolve. Its design became more and more perfect, nevertheless, retaining the features of that same record-breaking model. Nowadays, the descendant of the famous brand is also in production.
Triumph Bonneville T100
The classic appearance of this motorcycle, polished over the years of its production, is far from the appearance of sports bikes rushing into the future or pretentious and pompous choppers.
He does not copy his ancestors exactly, but carefully tries to match them. Even the modern injection system, installed on a two-cylinder air-cooled engine, is styled to resemble carburetors.
Despite its iconic image, this motorcycle is quite suitable for everyday use. It has something of the Jawa and CZ motorcycles, well known to motorcyclists of the Soviet Union.
It’s just that the characteristics are significantly different. A powerful 68 horsepower engine with a volume of 865 cubic centimeters provides very fast acceleration and a maximum speed that these old men could only envy. A high-quality suspension, which uses KYB shock absorbers, will allow the rider to feel quite comfortable throughout the entire speed range.
With a curb weight of 225 kilograms, you won't have to strain too hard when rolling your bike out of the parking lot. And relatively narrow tires and a good suspension design will allow you to maneuver freely in traffic. The Triumph Bonneville can easily take turns without requiring miracles of balancing act from its owner. It does not require constant monitoring, obediently responding to the opening of the throttle valve. This is a good bike for every day.
Despite its somewhat utilitarian nature, the Bonneville will not get lost among its numerous two-wheeled counterparts. Its stylish appearance will appeal to many motorsports enthusiasts. For some, it will allow them to remember their youth, and for others, it will allow them to stand out among the already quite familiar Yamaha and Ducati.
The latter is facilitated by the variety of design options for the legendary motorcycle, which can be further expanded through options offered by dealers.
If you are able to allocate 650,000 rubles from your budget to purchase a Triumph Bonneville, then you can see all this for yourself. Would you say it's expensive? What can you do. After all, the motorcycle is iconic!

Motorcycle maintenance cost
If you calculate the total cost of maintaining this motorcycle, you must take into account that the price of servicing a Triumph Bonneville motorcycle also depends on transport tax, insurance, the cost of gasoline and other things.
The average car tax will be 1,500 rubles, insurance will be around 1,000 rubles. The cost of gasoline is calculated individually based on the travel mode. If you drive intensively, you may need to change the oil; for motorcycles, synthetics are used, 10W40 or 15W40. The manufacturer recommends using Mobil 1 Racing 4T or Mobil Extra 4T.
Replacement of consumables: brake pads, chain and air filter is carried out depending on the condition and intensity of use of the motorcycle.
