It is possible to fully start the engine using the key fob only after installing the air damper servomotor. The device, as a rule, is placed on the wall of the engine compartment, while others, on the contrary, try to mount the element directly on the carburetor. By installing this element, you can forget about the position of the air barrier. This device is produced under the Sadko brand. The model is produced in two types:
- Standard equipment, which includes a microcontroller, control unit, cable, electric drive and temperature sensor.
- The maximum configuration, which contains all the previously listed devices, as well as some additions.
The maximum configuration of "Sadko" is distinguished by the following indicators:
- Having received a signal from the alarm key fob, the damper automatically opens slightly;
- Next comes fuel injection;
- after which, due to the control unit, a spark is supplied, which starts the engine for warming up.
If you decide to give preference to the standard set, then you will have to manually configure the entire system, since there may be a problem due to inaccurate calculations and installation, namely:
- The ignition is turned on first and the damper is closed manually;
- after the engine is running normally, you have to close the damper again with your own hands;
- after waiting for some time, you have to completely open the fuel supply;
- the machine should run for some time at idle speed without outside intervention;
- At the end the engine stops and cools down completely.
Upon completion of everything, all that remains is to test start the car with a button from a certain distance, which is accessible for the alarm.
Important. If everything was done correctly during manual setup, the device will automatically repeat your actions, thereby starting the engine for operation and warming up.
Installation and connection of additional elements
Many cars do not have hood, trunk, or fuel filler door sensors. You can purchase limit switches, connect them in parallel and connect them to the control input. This is how, for example, they install the hood button:

Carburetor cars are still in great demand in the secondary market today. Therefore, installing autostart on a carburetor is a fairly pressing topic. With carburetor cars, serious problems often arise when starting from cold, especially at extremely low temperatures below -25°C. In this article, we will look in more detail at how autostart is installed on a carburetor using the example of a domestic VAZ 2107 car.

The LED scale is designed to visualize the position of the air damper by connecting to the rotary resistor on the gearmotor. The damper position is indicated by a lit “column” of LEDs. The second scale (on Photon-4) is made of colored LEDs and displays the engine temperature, units and tens of degrees, there is an overheating warning mode. The LED scale is made in the form of a waterproof module in transparent heat shrinkage measuring 30mm x 10mm. The module can be secured in a convenient place with double-sided tape or in any other way.
Visualization of the controlled parameter is possible as a column of variable height or a “running” point.

Let's start assembling the fasteners. It is ordered as a separate line on the order form. It is also included in both sets (first and second line in the order form). The minimum Sadko kit in the order form consists of an electronics unit with wires, a gear motor, an internal combustion engine temperature sensor and fasteners.
The fasteners include: a plate, bolts and washers, a traction lever for the cable, a cable clamp on the plate. The fastener is designed for a cable drive to control the carburetor air damper. The cable is not included in the kit and must be purchased by the buyer independently. From 2021, the plate can be used from standard industrial fasteners to maintain cost.
