Today there is almost no owner who does not care about the safety of his car; an alarm system is the best solution. Regardless of the brand of the car and its value, there is always a risk of loss. To increase the level of car safety, new and progressive security systems are being developed. For the practical Lada Largus station wagon, there are quite a lot of offers of such devices on the market.
Here, Lada Largus owners are concerned about a pertinent and fair question: how to choose and independently install an alarm system in your car?
Note that manual installation of a security system in a Russian station wagon is quite possible. The owner will need to resort to preliminary preparation, which concerns not only the car, but also obtaining certain knowledge, because the alarm must be installed correctly.

Connecting autostart to Hyundai Solaris
Independently disabling a car alarm with auto start and CAN bus will require the use of the connectors available in the standard power supply circuit.
The connection points for the Hyundai Solaris auto start alarm are located at:
- starter;
- ignition 1 and 2;
- ACC.
When connecting, you must follow the connection diagram supplied with the car alarm. Autostart power circuits are connected to the fuse block.
The connectors required for this are located at the rear, near the power unit locations.
4.Bypassing the standard Lada Largus immobilizer using Pandora car alarm via LIN
To deactivate the standard immobilizer during autostart, use the hardware algorithm to bypass the standard Pandora immobilizer. Connections are made in the black connector of the BCM unit.
The DATA wire of the immobilizer bus – pin No. 36 of the black connector (the numbering is indicated on the connector on the pin side) must be cut. Connect the black Pandora DH 50 LIN IN wire to the DATA wire of the immobilizer bus towards the BCM unit. Accordingly, connect the white Pandora LIN OUT wire to the DATA wire of the immobilizer bus in the opposite direction from the BCM unit.

In the same connector there is a control wire for the immobilizer status LED on the dashboard - pin No. 32. When starting the engine using a keyless algorithm, this wire must be broken using a relay. The relay is controlled by an additional channel. We turn on the channel while the ignition is turned on (using the table of timer channels).

General requirements
Before starting work, you must study the operating and installation manuals. The security system is designed for installation on vehicles with an on-board voltage of 12 Volts. Thus, it cannot be installed on motor vehicles. In principle, this car alarm can be installed on trucks by powering it from one battery and making galvanic isolation from the electrical equipment of the truck using relays for controlled circuits. At the first stage of work, an installation map is developed. It shows the installation locations of the main units, the location of the wires, the location of the sensors and the blocking relay.
Before starting installation, you should make sure that all the electrical equipment of the car is working properly; it is better to carry out computer diagnostics.
Electrical installation work must be carried out with the battery disconnected. When removing the battery terminals, make sure that the ignition is turned off, otherwise the standard immobilizer may become untied.
When installing alarm units, rigid connections should be used: self-tapping screws, screw connections, or, in extreme cases, glue. Soft suspension of blocks on plastic clamps significantly reduces the reliability of the system. Installation of Starline A93 requires special attention and thoroughness in all installation work.
Security system conductors should be laid in such a way that they do not come into contact with moving body parts, accelerator, clutch and brake pedals, steering column, or heating climate control systems. It is better to lay all conductors in close proximity to the standard electrical wiring harnesses. After completing the electrical installation work and setting up the security system, you can use plastic clamps to combine standard and non-standard wiring into a single clamp, thereby complicating the work of possible car thieves.
The manufacturer recommends bridging additionally installed blocking relays with diodes. This means that medium power diodes are installed parallel to the relay winding, connected in reverse polarity relative to the on-board network voltage.
Types of alarms
As you know, all vehicles, including Lada Largus, are equipped with standard means that prevent their theft - door and ignition locks. However, today you can arm yourself with more advanced means, among which the following options are especially popular:
- one-way or two-way communication with or without autostart;
- dialogue;
- telematic;
- with GSM modules.
Their effectiveness and operating principles often differ from each other. There are devices that are sensitive to even the slightest breath of wind, and there are those that will not feel the kick of a passing person. Here it is very important to pay attention to the strength of the communication channel between the receiver and the key fob.
How to install an alarm system on Largus with your own hands
Of course, vehicle safety issues concern every first-time car owner today. Unfortunately, they are always subject to certain risks, regardless of location, brand or cost. Installing an alarm system on Largus yourself will help to significantly increase the level of security.

If we are talking about this representative of the domestic automobile industry, then this procedure can be performed independently, even without visiting a service center. Thus, the car owner gets the opportunity to save money, enjoy the results of his own work and increase self-esteem. However, this process will require certain knowledge and careful preparation.
Connection and installation of car alarm pandora dx 50 on lada largus
The Lada Largus does not have a can tire (there is only a lin tire). Therefore, all connections are made analogue.
You can connect the ground to the standard place behind the instrument panel.

Connect the tachometer to the black connector of the instrument panel.
Engine control (tachometer) - beige, pin 21
Do not forget to select the method of monitoring engine operation in the Alarm Studio program - an analog tachometer. Otherwise, if you leave the default value - digital tachometer, then there will be no auto start, since the alarm will not be able to determine whether the engine is running or not.
Setting up the Alarm Studio program
It is also possible to connect to the generator wire for engine control. In this case, the car alarm should be connected to the pin 13 wire of the black connector on the instrument panel - orange wire. In the Alarm Studio settings, you should allow control of engine operation via the generator and assign one of the additional alarm inputs as a “charging lamp”.

All main connectors of the central unit are located in a row on one side. This simplifies installation work and routing of conductors. Starline connectors are universal, so in order, for example, to replace a Starline a91 with an a93, you just need to “switch” the connectors on the head unit.
The problem of choosing the right device
Before you begin the actual installation of a new alarm system, you must first select it. Today this is somewhat problematic, since the available range of goods simply “breaks all records.” If we take into account the fact that all products were created to protect the car, then in order to increase competitiveness in the relevant market, they will differ in their security level, manufacturer and price per set.
When the price range is visible to the naked eye, the owner of a Lada Largus should think about how expensive it is and what degree of protection would be most acceptable. After all, there is not only the alarm system itself, but also entire anti-theft complexes that it is part of. In addition, certain types of devices are not always suitable for the Lada Largus, especially those that you can install yourself.
As a rule, all anti-theft systems are equipped with a standard set of devices, which include the alarm itself, an immobilizer and an electronic hood lock.

When installing Starline A93, you must follow the technology for installing electrical equipment, be extremely careful, and take into account the features of the electrical circuit of your car. Let's consider the features of performing individual stages of work.
Tips for choosing an alarm system for Lada Lagrus
When choosing an alarm system, you should focus on the place where the car is parked, because it can be under the windows of its owner, or maybe several kilometers away in a garage. In this case, the range and type of communication are important - one-way or two-way.
Consider where you park your car
From a reliability standpoint, it is better to choose a device with a large number of sensors. If the Lada Largus has expensive wheels, a tilt sensor will be especially relevant.
When choosing an alarm system with feedback, you need to focus on your own desires and its price category. Especially if the device costs as much as half a car, which, of course, can surprise only thieves.
All instructions and descriptions of the functioning of individual components cannot be thrown away, since they will be needed in case of reprogramming or repair of the alarm system.
It is worth taking care of having spare key fobs
As for the key fob, the batteries in it need to be changed on time. If it gets lost or someone else needs to use the car, it’s a good idea to have several backup options.
